About this product
The Sand Blaster Hybrid Gap-Sand Wedge is a right-handed 52° wedge designed for seniors, featuring a dual sole for bunker help. It has a steel shaft with a senior flex and is extended by 1 inch for added reach. This wedge is intended for men and is sold as a single club.
Our take
For a senior golfer who struggles in bunkers, this wedge's dual sole is engineered to prevent digging, and the 52° loft bridges the gap between pitching and sand wedges. The +1 inch length adds reach, which can help with posture and consistency. However, the steel shaft is heavier than graphite, which might be tiring over a round, and the senior flex is a fixed choice, limiting adjustability. At a budget price, it's a targeted solution for a specific short-game need, but it won't replace a full wedge set. If bunker play is your weakness, this is a smart single-club investment.
