About this product
The Sand Blaster Hybrid Gap-Sand Wedge is a right-handed 52° wedge for men, featuring a dual sole for bunker assistance. It has a steel shaft with senior flex and standard men's length. This wedge is new and made in China.
Our take
Comparing this to the +1 inch version, the standard length is a key difference: it suits golfers of average height who don't need extra reach. The dual sole remains a strong feature for bunker play, and the 52° loft is versatile. However, the steel shaft is heavier than graphite, which might be a drawback for seniors with slower swings. The senior flex is a given, but the standard length may not fit taller players. At a budget price, it's a functional wedge, but if you're taller or prefer a lighter shaft, the +1 inch version might be better. This is a straightforward choice for a standard-fit senior.
